Hello all. I cannot see a page for posting files like this one, so I'll post it in a message. My 1918 Chalmers has a Stromberg L-2 carburettor, and I found a section on this carb in the 1925 edition of Dyke's Automobile and Gasoline Engine Encyclopedia. I made a facsimile by scanning and typing. Enjoy.
While on the subject, my carb looks to be a good bit gummed up from old evaporated petrol and I would like to ask if anyone has found a good treatment for soaking carbs to clean out passages and ports etc. Now that would be something. There's also literally about 3 - 4cm of hardened matter in the bottom of the petrol tank too, which is taking ages to get rid of.
All the best,
Dave
