Looking for Chalmers 1914-15 Master Six transmission. Have rough case but no gears. Looking for better case and gears to finish our Chalmers. Any help, price, or leads would be most appreciated!

1918 Clutch - looking for info
      Post-War Chalmers
Hello all. I am looking for any information for the clutch for my 1918 Model 35-D, which I am guessing is probably the same or very similar to that used in other cars of the six-30 series of 1917 - 1918. Very grateful if you have any technical info or workshop instructions, or also tips on how to get into the clutch for cleaning or adjustment. Thanks so much, Dave

Instructions for adjusting the Stromberg L-2 carburettor
      Post-War Chalmers
Hello all. I cannot see a page for posting files like this one, so I'll post it in a message. My 1918 Chalmers has a Stromberg L-2 carburettor, and I found a section on this carb in the 1925 edition of Dyke's Automobile and Gasoline Engine Encyclopedia. I made a facsimile by scanning and typing. Enjoy. While on the subject, my carb looks to be a good bit gummed up from old evaporated petrol and I would like to ask if anyone has found a good treatment for soaking carbs to clean out passages and ports etc. Now that would be something. There's also literally about 3 - 4cm of hardened matter in the bottom of the petrol tank too, which is taking ages to get rid of. All the best, Dave
